Privacy Policy
Last updated: 13 October 2026
This is the portfolio website of Youssef Hassan Youssef (“we”, “I”). It is built to show work, not to collect data. This page explains exactly what happens when you visit.
What we collect
- No accounts, no forms, no advertising trackers. The site has no sign-up and no newsletter.
- Anonymous statistics. To understand which work people look at, we count page views and clicks (for example “trailer played” or “Instagram link clicked”) with tools that run on this website’s own server. They use no cookies, store no IP addresses and keep only totals that cannot identify you.
- E-mail. If you write to us, we receive your name, e-mail address and whatever you include, and use it only to reply.
- Server logs. Our host (Hostinger) keeps standard technical logs — IP address, browser type, page requested and time — for security and to keep the site running. They are kept for a limited period and are not used to identify visitors.
Cookies
pll_language— remembers whether you chose English or Arabic (functional, one year).- Site editors who log in also receive WordPress login cookies. Visitors do not.
We do not use advertising, analytics or social-media tracking cookies, so no cookie banner is needed.
Videos (Vimeo & YouTube)
Trailers and spots are not loaded until you press play. When you do, the video is streamed from Vimeo (with “Do Not Track” enabled) or from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). From that moment their own privacy policies apply.
Fonts and other third parties
All fonts, images and scripts are served from this website’s own server. Nothing is loaded from Google Fonts or other third-party CDNs. Links to Vimeo, Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook only take you to those sites when you click them.
Security
The site is served only over encrypted HTTPS, uses strict security headers, limits login attempts and is kept up to date automatically.
Your rights
You can ask what personal data we hold about you (normally just an e-mail you sent), and ask us to correct or delete it, in line with Egypt’s Personal Data Protection Law (No. 151 of 2020) and, where it applies, the EU GDPR. Write to youssef.hassann01@gmail.com and we will answer within 30 days.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date.
